I want to start finding everything I need for my next fall/winter builds. That said I have 3 tubs I want to complete and need opinions.

After trimming 2 of the hulls I could have a max length of 27'' and the other 30-31''. I could extend the nose maybe or shift the front boom tube back in the sponsons?

My current tub (12 boat) of same design I copied Zipp's setup and sponsons. I plan to do the same with the others. My question is what size can I get away with. I assume they are too short to build anything bigger than a FE26 or the R4.

Overall goal is a p-limited. If possible I'd love to go bigger, i however really only have the one tub to decide to cut down or stuff a big motor in it. I guess I could answer my own question and build to the 33fe size and start with a small motor. One thing I found out since my long time away is these electric boats are getting over powered for the size hulls they are put into...

Things to consider,,, I do not plan to build per any club rules as it would be highly unlikely that I race. Just thinking out loud/Brainstorming at the moment.
