A legend in his own mind, in reality a total F'n tool. He showed up at an IMPBA SAW event back in 2012 we held in NC. We got contacted prior to it by a few NAMBA folks warning us about him. I told everyone (I was DD at the time) we needed to give him the benefit of doubt and we did so. He reset some old N class FE records and told us how nice the site was, how he had a great time, blah, blah, blah. As soon as he got back to the west coast he trash talked us, our event and our organization.

Obviously his business is much more important than the organizations supporting his market.

But, without the market there would be no business.

With few exceptions, most of the businesses that support model boating are small, one or two person businesses. And it is the same small businesses that sponsor classes and donate raffle prizes year after year.
