keep an eye on the valve stems too. they go bad as quick as the tires!!!

I've been too 100's of races and maybe twice I've heard someone blowing a car or truck tire. Seems every race at least one racer has a trailer tire blow, coming and going home. Very Strange :blink: ........==={}

Midnight flats are a bummer, we always had metal/brass valve stems installed and when the transponder system for tire pressure was available we installed it on our trailer. A little pricey but it gave us great peace of mind while on the road.

I ran modern automotive radial tires and automotive aluminum wheels on three different size trailers behind three different vehicles over sixteen years and had no issues whatsoever. I think it is all about weekly/monthly maintenance.

Tony, purchase good products and take care of them, you should have no problems.
