Drew how senseless is this: . Forged props cost an arm and a leg but I know what hell im talking about Ive been around boats all my life: http://www.seabuddyo...or-merc-racing/

When you jump on a bandwagon just coz someone you respect says something then acuse the other guy of being the fool when you know zero about me what I or who I know then you make your self the fool. If anyone needs a "metallurigal" test to know that forged is harder than cast thats sad. Sometime do you guys really think about what you are saying or is it more important to attack me? Anyway real boat racing cost real money if you jump out there with candy @ss **** things happen point blank. If you got an office full of broken props then you need a new propman. Im done wasting my time here . Drew tell your pal Im an @sshole coz I think he should be compensated for his face without a lawsuit.

Forged props starting at 28k  almost the same price as some people I know entire boat <_< .

I will start with one of your quotes-

"Look at that mans face point blank if he was too close someone should have said step back."

Or

"Man while you speaking about eyes be happy YOU LIVING. Man seems like someone should be having to pay you."

Or

A baseball player hits a foul tip that smashes a newborn in the face.-

Forget it , I'm not even going there

And the point of the link you posted was ???

Oh wait I forgot the best one -

"You need to sue that prop manufacturer IM sorry yall that dont make no sense the damage that thing did to this man."

Man you are unreal..it never ends . Obviously you are not that familiar with propellers in the outboard performance world and have no clue as to what you attempt to converse about . The finest props available break in use , they fail and all have a short lifespan when hammered on . They are replaced redundantly by racers before they break and sometimes sold to individuals for recreational use . The finest props available by Mercury Racing , Dewald Propellers , Performance Propeller , Mazco (this prop )all break after their service life (time or severity of use ) is exceeded . I've used them all and had several break Shizz happens .

Andy, glad to read the docs were able to patch you up. As you and Tom said, stuff happens and, as we know, a thrown blade is nothing to be trifled with. Don't have any experience with OBs but I've seen the damage a thrown blade can do to an unlimited hydroplane and it can be extensive. One unlimited I saw had a blade go through the aluminum honeycomb bottom, deck and wing while at speed. Took the boat right out of competition due to the resulting damage from both the blade and vibration. That prop, I was told, was a machined three blade with a couple of seasons on it. Since then, props have started being chemically tested for stress cracking during the season so the number of thrown blades has come down to almost none. Anyway, as far as your injury, I hope you'll be healed up in time for the holidays.

Sorry Andy, I misunderstood your initial post. Still, that was a serious injury to whoever it was that got hit
