i was wondering what can be used as a subsitute of mold release, when you're making plugs? :unsure:

I hear that duct tape works GREAT,it won't stick to the top.

When you are talking Mold Release are you talking Polyvinyl alcohol?

If so stick with it.. its the best. Remember to still wax (partall) the mold.

I hear a good car wax with out silicone works, but I have never tried it.

I would stick with Partall and PVA.

If you are going to use "car" wax it must have "carnuba" to be a good mold release wax. Try a craft store for PVA mold release.
