Thanks for posting it Tommy..To bad what happened the run after that..70 is not a easy mark.We were close, regroup and try again.Special Thanks to Mark S for all his help to get me where I was at ,in a short time..More to come LOL..

Rene, I agree. 70mph is not an easy mark. Or atleast not for me. I had a bunch of help from Martin, Mark, Tim, and Aaron this year along with a couple local buddies. And I just touched 70. 71mph was the fastest I seen this year, in a pretty stable, raceable trim. That was with a stalker radar gun.

Next year Im going to try for that mid 70's mark.

For the guys that just toss a boat in and go 70's, I commend you. A true 70 mph on a good gun is not easy to come by!

Engine,pipe,propeller, and set up.

Wait until you can taste 75 or 80 MPH?

Keep testing fellas you will find it takes more RPM to go faster.

So how do you make more RPM? That is the goal this winter?

Nice accomplishment Rodney and Rene,

Mark Sholund

Nice.. sounds like that prop needs just a "hint" of cup in it, Sounds like its letting go in the corners. OR maybe lower the angle on the rear sponsons.

GREAT, GREAT RUNING BOAT!

Rene,

You wait brother once I get my tank and prop from my people you are in trouble. LOL, I need the weather to hold out here for another 2 weeks so I can throw the boat in some water I am almost finished with my Ninja Rigger. Yours looks sweet to say the least, more test time and that new secret motor and you will be creeping past 70 mph looking for 80mph mark.

Great running Ninja Rene, your going to love this boat. Here is mine, built by Mike in 2001, it has been the district 16 A Hydro champ 2 years in a row now that I can race enough. Has beaten all comers, SG SGX Blackbird and Jae`s. With a NR 35 Plus and an old S pipe its very hard to beat for speed and race water handling.

You have a great running Ninja Rene. There are a couple of TCMBC members that have Ninjas that consistently run 68-69mph. This is Patrick Steele's running at the clubs "speed run" in 2009. he was radared at 69mph.
