The new CMB motors are in

It was better than Christmas the other day when Bruce an I unpacked the cases from CMB. The new 91 VAC's and the new 21 Valvolas (now called the 21 RSV "Evo") are in stock. Even though the new 21 Valvola is referred to as "Evo", it is still a single piece crank, drum induction motor. I also have parts to update the existing motors. The 21's will require a new backplate, drum and carb. Bolt pattern changed so old carbs will not fit. The 91HR upgrade only requires a new backplate and drum. Existing carbs (bolt on style) will work. Tests done this fall showed a big increase in torque for the 91 VAC over the HR version. We anticipate the same for the 21's. See the port added to the case at the bottom of the boost port to allow for the flow from the revised drum. Compare to the HR91, it doesnt have the added port at the bottom of the boost port on the case:
