If you were not there you guys missed a hell of a records weekend. It was chilly! The temps were below freezing in the morning and air density was as low as -1300' on Saturday morning. That made for some nice conditions to burn some nitro or gas and not so much fun trying to keep lipos toasty and tape sticking for the electric boats. Never the less some of the fastest times in IMPBA and NAMBA were set this weekend in all categories. These are all unofficial in till the records committees review and approve the runs. Let's see if I can remember half of the runs and records.

Chris Grim ran a sub 13 second 1/4 mile in IMPBA with a 12.86sec run I believe.

David Hall managed to break the 2 cell tunnel record in NAMBA with a 63mph run and eventually a 67mph 2-way average run.

Here is the back up pass from a 65mph run.

Adam Grim broke the NAMBA SAW and 2-lap records with his twin gas rigger. Sorry the video is rotated and I was not there for the record runs but I believe the speed was 93mph for the SAW and 17.8s for the 2-lap.

Wally Duarte also broke an IMPBA record, but I cannot recall which one and did not get a chance to record any of his passes.

Congratulations to all of the winners and the Huntsville crew for their outstanding performances!

Congratulations all, especially for your new S record, that's getting close to the JAG's team isn't it?

As my old buddy Joe Ingrao used to say "it ain't as easy as it looks"! ;)

Chris did have really cool air brakes on his electric boat.
That is one of the nicest engineered boats I have ever seen.
