Hey Brian too cool. My Uncle has 2 tether boats in his collection. One is a twin engine hydro called "Double Trouble" It is SWEEEET! The other is a similar design with only a single screw. They are both prime specimens. He has all of the support gear as well. It's a pretty complete deal. They were from a guy who raced in Michigan, can't remember his name right off the top of my melon. I can get more info if anyone is interested.

Brian, this is just a total stab in the dark, but do you know either a Matt Burch, or Sean Sweeney from Cinci? Just curious.

A guy from Evansville died a week or two ago,Bert Kuebler raced tether cars had a car around 1965 or so world record holder 180 mph. Never saw them run but they put them in a caged area and held a broom stick out to hit a rod to choke the motor to kill it. The car looked like all tuned pipe on a oring set of wheels. Bert helped modify the early members motors but was too old to enjoy boating with us. Just another guy that helped us get our start. PS at one mall show he brought a buddy a guy who was IMPBA president from St Louis..PETE YANCER....Mikey
