The Twin Cities Model Boat Club will hold its second points race of the season on Saturday, June 14 at the Nichols Rd pond in Eagan. All Impba classes offered with a 3 boat minimum to make a class. Nitro, gas, and fast electric.

Hmm,

So many boats, such a small vehicle to haul them in. What should I bring for round two?

Greg.. yes, i have...!. or did.. very late last fall... theres more there, i just havent tested it out this year yet... 122 mph isnt going to happen with this one.... We're all looking at the first 2 day race possibly... saturday racing while not impossible is pretty schedule and travel tough.... we'll see.... i need... the heat practice myself.... i could still mulligan points 1, and have at it, maybe.... ... not... we'll get it on brother.. I'm almost the least worries in 45 class..... there's some new test blood around.... Mike

L.C.... whatja bring for round one?... aw heck.. ill look it up... Mike
.21 SGX-One: First time on the water. Boat drives really nice, just need to find the speed.

.21 Vision: Bought me a fancy crimping tool for rigging cable steering, when I re rigged the boat last season. had a steering cable let go before the start of the first heat! Never had that happen before crimping cables with a needle nose pliers... tool went in the trash.

.45 Warhead: Still chasing my tail with this one.

.45 SG: After Greg lit the water up at the speed run with his big rack nova powered JAE, I wasn't sure if the old girl could hang with the new kids on the block. The back up Mac and the AA just never matched the performance of the original Mac in this hull so i put the original back in. Swapped out the parabolic for one of Scott Bouchie's pipes and threw her out with the sharks. Was too lean in heat one for a goose egg, got lucky in heat two for a first, nailed the start in heat three and led most of the race, but Greg got around me on the final lap, and i finished second.

2 boat heat?.. lol... who else?.. Bob?.. Ya did good Larry... Showing up and trying beats all... dont it?.. I left my 45 hydro around 74 into late Sept... I've fine tuned some things and maybe ill throw 'er in.... I've seen a few 40 boats around....aint jus' mine!.. We'll be up. Tune 'em up men... Mike ...... LC. tip and possible... I got the braided cable wire crap for my tunnels at the fishin' store.. ( yeah, I get it in Mn, shut up, per you guys have toothy fish), the little ferrules too... and crimp with the rear crimper in my small vise grip.. works well... and a 5 minute fix cable and all per a blow off or somebody T bones ya... 'luck... Mike

I am hoping to have my d hydro this weekend along with my Frankenstein b tunnel.
