Racing on a VERY thin budget sucks, I had enough coin to make entry-one event insurance-and fuel back and forth from home only+++ plus pay Otto for a long overdue gal of 60%. The first heat I blew off in Josh's propwash trying to pass for the lead, forgot how flighty these little boats are. Then lost the throttle servo at launch in the 2nd heat and I was done for the weekend. $25.00 bucks for a micro servo dont sound like much, but breakdowns were not factored into my slim budget as much as that sucks

Really now, the Tampa club did a great job putting on the race. Thanks to Brandon for letting them borrow the lake. It was a really fun weekend for everyone that came to this District 3 Race. Next stop will be Miami in August.

After the 8th or 9th lap, I went to load the car, and all I heard was OOOO'S and AAAh's . You guys were having WAY too much fun. Then I saw the Offshore run- :blink:

Look forward too seeing you at the Brandon race- but your gonna have to pick up the 7/11 T- Boat - stay out of the prop-wash Tammy

YOUR A GREAT PIT PERSON! next time you run something, i dont care what, i want to pit for you!!! cause your definatly owed one... you clearly had the fastest 20 mono....you just didnt have some good luck to go with it!!! and you definatly busted your butt working the retrieve boat all weekend.....Steve Hearle, thanks for all your help on sunday, you **** sure make boat racing alot of fun and its always a pleasure racing with ya!! Lou, Warren, and Doc , even the blind squirrel gets the acorn,(so Marty says) As long as you guys race sport 20,s Im gonna race mine cause you guys MAKE IT FUN! my ribs are still sore from laughing. Noel, you better keep that RTR tweaked tight cause im comin for ya!!!good racin with ya and you absolutly deserved the win!! Even though the entries were down,(you can sure see that this economy is affecting alot of us) the Tampa club still put on a heckofa good race and thank goodness for the Brandon guys and thier lake!! Looking forward to cooler weather and the next 1 day at Brandon!!.....hopefully the entries will go up.....gotta be optimistic cause it still dont cost nothin!! Bill

Awe shucks - Bill I would pit for you ANY DAY - you actually listen - :blink: Now IF you hadn't had "Crash Hearle" pitting for you on Sunday - Well- a perfect RTR weekend WAS in the cards !!! ( I know, I was late- knowing I wasn't running lead me to sleep in )

I feel bad for Steve Bell, he won the first 2 heats Sat, and on Sunday broke a prop on a turtle and took out the water pickup and we had to stop- in the last heat he NAILED the start, I was so excited for him, I kept talking about how he nailed the start instead of keeping him in one piece,he hit the entrance bouy on 3 and it cost him his first trophy by 25 pts - -Doouughhh !!!!!! Darn Pit-Man

Hopefully we will bring that .21Mono rocket back for the One-Day and have some fun, and yes , your pitting for me.

Thanks for the tent space, I TOLD YOU I wouldn't eat much and take up too much space
