With the JAE's being so heavy in the hind end, who's gonna be the 1st to try an outboard? Do you know of anyone trying this Rod? Seem's like a good fit?

Nobody that I know of and I am not even going to go there.....I won't even comment on an outboard application for the JAE hydro concept.....

A outboard JAE would be a totally different animal and I am worn out with what we already have .....

Fair enough, this whole thing must be exhausting for you!! You guy's created a monster for sure. Maybe someone will try it, I just might have to if I ever find some free time, fat chance. I know it's not a popular class for the most part. Just seems like it may work well. The Sundowners & Spitfires ran the center ski concept what, starting back in the early 80's?? Anyone, anyone???

That would be neat to see! I still have my Spitfire...very stable and fast! The JAE might need some rear shoes with an O/B on it....Hmmm....somebody's going to try one...you watch....

BOB KENSILL IS BUILDING ONE NOW

YOU CAN BET IT WILL BE FAST

Joe,

I know of two of them being built now, and more coming soon.

Very busy in the shop, I missed your call the other day. I hope to

be out testing as soon as the wind calms down.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

we have also been talking about it. the big problem is that thing will sink when it stalls in the water. there is barley enough flotation in the rear to keep the rear end up as it is.

...that is one reason why I said they need to have rear shoes added....
