Friends, I have a NIB 40 Cobalt Marine Astrofligth racing motor and I want to set up an outboard over OS leg initially with HP Adapter & Astro 207D esc on a VS1.
The specifications are:
Engine: Running Voltage 12 to 18 volts
Running Current 5 to 35 Amps
Running Power 60 to 500 Watts
Prop Size 40 to 50 mm
Constant Speed 800 rpm per volt
Constant Torque 1.7 inch ounces per amp
Typical Speed 9000 rpm at 12 volts
Diameter 1.67 inches Engine
Motor Length 2.8 inches
Motor Connector AstroFlight male / motor side
Motor Winding 8 turns
Motor Weight 12oz
Shaft Diameter 1/4 in
Coupler Diameter 1/8 in
ESC: Voltage range 7 to 60 Volts
Turn on Voltage 7 Volts
Number of Nicad or NIMH Cells 6 to 40 Cells
Continuous Current Rating 60 Amps
PWM rate 3 KC
Opto Coupling Yes
Length two inches
Width 1 inch
Height 1/4 inch
Weight 40 grams
Universal Servo Connector
Power Cables 13 gauge.
I want to use LIPO batteries that suggest I use?
believe that the VS1 can handle this power?
i`m Nitro Guy and little FE, any suggestion is welcome thank you!
