Strut Depth Setup Block

The basic idea of the last version is that you take a 1/2 inch solid rod , slides it thru the hole and use the same block on the other side of the strut. The little taped hole you see is for a set screw ......... so you could use 2 blocks parallel to the bottom of your boat.

If you take this jig and made it out of 6061 aluminum you don't have to worry about the big triangle slot ......... or your tail weight is more than 10 pounds

I didn't know you were planning to use 6061. I was thinking delrin, as with David's prototype, hence the thought of needing a thicker sloped side.
