Nope, once you've quoted another post, the contents of it are permanently etched in hyperspace and can only be changed by you or someone with moderator(or admin) authority. It's actually a convenient way of "preserving" the original content of a post.

I don't think it does. I had the same issue with the big lot of parts I bought. The original thread was edited, but anyon that replied to the post had the original info in it. That's one way to ensure the original data in a thread stays available if the originator edits or deletes their original comments. h34r:

EDIT: Piper Chuck was quicker on the keys than me. Also, you can edit the original contents within your post, making it appear that the originator posted it. You can literally put words in some elses mouth......not that anyone would do that......

say it will pop up @ a pond or hobby shop.

I really wouldn't count on this thing "popping up" anywhere.

One of our local racers down here in Florida had 2 boats lifted from his residents, both were quit unique.

Same thing, everyone in the hobby was notified of the theft nation wide.

This was probably 2 years ago, and these things have never been seen.

on a more positive note however, a good member here had two of his boats stolen and one resurface on Ebay a year later (we could be talking about the same guy here Rick).

Don't lose hope, if and when it pops up and someone from this site see's it, you will know.

Powder coated Blue. It also has the painters name on the bottom of the hole boat. His name is KAOTIC
