Stealth sport 40

Man took me all season got my sport 40 running like a banshee then my stupid radio receiver took a dive after having a condensation inside the radio box I'm ditching my futaba 7pxr radio system and all six receivers I've never had this issue with any of my spectrum receivers ever have lost two receivers this season to minimal condensation or water droplets even after treating my receivers with corrosion x prior to being used yeah it might have been my fault I seen the condensation inside the radio box but I didn't think nothing of it because my spectrum receivers never had an issue with it but obviously these t-fhss receivers cannot handle any type of moisture at all

Needless to say my boat went full speed right into the center of the clock which had a half inch piece of plywood it impaled right through one half inch piece of plywood about 6 in deep actually the stealth sport 40 hold up quite well but it actually warped the entire hull, it drove the fuel tanks forward the strut went forward pushing the drive shaft tube bent forward after removing everything the hull itself actually has a bowed structure to it now I'm considering it totaled even though it doesn't look that bad I will give praise to Phil Thomas it was a hell of a tough boat even though it drove through it piece of half inch plywood that stayed together for the most part

Corey let me know if you have any decent futaba receivers you want to get rid of and yes that boat held up good for as hard as you hit the clock

Well repaired the damage on the boat and dang she turned out all right special thanks to Chris capaldi for doing an excellent job on it
It will live to see another day

Nope I plan on getting that in the water by spring and yes Chris is an asset to the boating community great guy

how is your RX antenna installed?

Also.. if your selling the RXs they must still be working.......yes?

If you have coated the RX i VERY MUCH doubt its moisture caused the issue.

The antennas were just inside the radio box but when you get a solid red light and a dead receiver it ain't working even after a week later on the countertop I tried powering the receiver up and just a red light servos were dead

I have never experienced this, Sorry to hear this.

I dont coat any of my receivers. I just replace the antenna with a long one and away I go.

I have never had a RX check out due to "condensation inside the radio box" but truth is I do all I can do avoid it..

Just a few notes or tips or just info!
I never leave the battery plug into switch after a day of racing or testing
hence...
I never leave the radio box taped up after a day of racing or testing..
not just weekend.. EVERY DAY of racing or testing.

If I see water in the radio box I take a moment to get that taken care of (even in between heats if needed)

And.. yes.. I always seem to get a few drops in the box and it MAKES ME NUTS!!! LOL
