Replace those tie wraps with these spring clamps that maintain continuous tightening on your coupler. Pliers spread these to about 1 1/4 inches and close to 1 inch. We use these on couplers with a 3/4 inch ID. Makes your material last longer and makes for a tight coupler to header/pipe contact. The result is not letting exhaust gases to leak, thereby maintaing good horespower. These are far superior to ones you might find at McMaster and are much more user friendly.

Headers, pipes and couplers are for example of usage only and not included.

$6.49 for the first and $4.49 each additional shipped IN US, more shipping elsewhere.

We use 2 per pipe, one at each end of coupler. These have been part of our basic setup for years. http://www.allrc1.com/#!product/prd1/3658467561/header-coupler-spring-clamp

These clamps have a very appropriate amount of pressure and work very well... I have a bunch of these from Bill. I agree, the McMaster ones are too firm, and more expensive.

Thanks for sourcing, and offering these Bill!

Bill,

Are you able to get these for 5-8" ID headers?

Thanks. Brad.

I can check into it but need the OD of the tube you're clamping onto so I'm sure I'm talking in correct terms. For example, the ones I sell are for a hose with 3/4 ID but OD runs bewteen 7/8 and 1 inch as its stretched over the tuned pipe. I.E. 7/8 on header side but 1 inch over pipe.

Let me know and I'd be glad to look into it.

Another happy boater..............

Bill,

I had the clamps on my scale and my 67 twin this weekend and they worked very well.

I had a lot of people ask where I got them. I think others will be getting a hold of you to buy some.

Thanks Again

Bill,

I put these clamps on my scale and on my twin a few weeks age. I am very happy with them.

The clamps are much better than the zip ties and hose clamps I have used in the past.

Many people have asked where I got them from, so Bill, I think others will be getting in touch with you.

Thanks for offering these clamps for sale.

Duke
