If you already had a .20 speedmaster, what did you think of it Tim?? I have been running the .45 speedmaster, and can't quite get a tune nailed down on it. It is fast...but I fear I may have to drop 5 or 6 oz in the CG to get it to stay with the pointy end forward and the wet side down...

Boatnutz, shoot me a PM with what you have...I might be interested.

I have never raced the 20 Speedmaster but I have watched enough of them race to know it's a great little boat.

One thing I know with the 20 is that you have to mount the engine as far forward as possible to get the most out of the hull , maybe the 45 is the same ?

Tim

The carb is under the deck where I have it mounted on the .45...so really can't see getting it any further forward than it is. I also have one of those 16 oz mono tanks up under the deck. I might be able to get that further forward...but the point being that 16 oz is more fuel than I need (that and the 2 oz hopper makes 18 oz of fuel)...but it adds more weight to the nose.

Anyhow, you said you had a wrecked .21. If you did not drive it, does that mean you bought it "pre wrecked"?

Tim and Sean I have a Speedmaster 21 that was built by Chris Fabro. It is set up for a NR. I have it set up as per KP. I have a tank in front of the motor and a saddle tank. The boat also has a stinger drive with just the inside tabs and one turn fin. Boat has thrid channel and all servos are installed in radio box. I would be interested in selling this with everything but motor and reciever and prop. I will leave the shaft in. The boat is cabable to run in the fifties. I had a Frank O motor and a Rod G motor in the boat and it was fast. I am in District 1 NAMBA and the class has dried up. They run electrics in the class to keep it alive but just isn't the same.Jerry
