 I would'nt torture you too long with it,, I do believe that most of the dimensions of that pipe are

the same as the original stamped Irwin J-pipe,, but the Gadjet stinger is much longer. Trouble is,

it's just about as difficult to get an Irwin J in good shape as the Gadjet.

I've had 4 of the Gadjet, one went to the bottom, one back to Australia, I kept one and sold the

other back to Bill here.

uh, not really, jerry. the gadjetcraft is shorter & fatter, i just compared them ;) . the closest thing i know of is the original ssp j pipe. virtually identical, except for the funky cf layup with the string wrapping. only ever seen 1 of those. know where it is, but he ain't selling. new, unused, too.

I can definately tell you that all of them are subtlely different, and if there were similarities it was co-incedental. ;) I was there when the original inboard Gadjet pipe was conceived in the 90's, and then later converted to O/B as well as doing the initial testing on it before they were ever sold. That pipe was conceived / refined using the Kavan prop test method and a crude dyno, then water testing.

Similar story with the SPP only about a decade later and without the prop test. It was originally conceived as the TD21 inboard pipe design. Dave H sent me one of the prototypes of that pipe, and I still use it to this day. The outboard version was known as NR21OB. Very needle and temp sensitive pipe, but when it's on, IT'S REALLY ON! The Gadjet is less sensitive and is a very capable pipe, particularly on the short stroke engines we were running at the time. I'd love to try one on a L/S modern engine.

Hiya Bill! - Sorry for the side track ;)

Do you have any of the SPP outboard pipes forsale?

Are you still a distributor?

"uh, not really, jerry. the gadjetcraft is shorter"

shorter from where to where? I get just under 6" from the begining of the coupler collar to the begining

of the convergence cone, baffle cone, the rear cone, the back cone, the cone thats reversed and what

ever else people call it. Thats on the Gadjet btw,, course I cut a little more than 1/2" off the coupler

collar to get a reasonable pipe length.

Mr Porter,

Sorry, I'm not a distributor. I have tried and tried to get pipes form SSP, I was told the pipes was shipped and in the mail. Well that was 2 1/2 months ago, still No Pipes. Look for the release of the TB21 Outboard pipe Soon.

Hey Tim,

I hope all is well with you and your family, Happy Holiday.........

Kentley,

The SPP pipe company has been sold from Dave Hatcliffe

to Aaron Alberico. I know Aaron and Ian are working

on some new designs, but I am not sure any are ready

for the market just yet. I have seen a few of the new

Nova Rossi 21 Inboard pipes and they look VERY NICE

INDEED. :D

Bill,

If the other 3280 is still for sale I will take it off your hands.

Let Me Know How To Pay You?

Happy Holidays,

Mark Sholund

Just a corection here

SPP is still owned and operated by myself. Aaron did not end up buying the pipes due to other business commitments so we have spent the last 6 months reworking the system and will be back on line early next year. I have been offline with my own business but have now found a way to produce pipes without interupting my daily work :D . So Febuary next year we will have a new self serve web site with new 21, 45, gas and 21OB pipes. So sometime in febuary after I have recovered from my surgery the will all be available. Stock is being built now but wont be available until feb

Dave,

Hope all is well with you and your family, and thank you for

keeping us up to speed on the SPP pipe business. If Ian,you,

and Aaron all work together the pipes should be winners.

I have some ideas if you guys need any new input.

Rest up and enjoy the holidays with your family.

Get Well Dave,

Mark Sholund

Bill,

I sent you a PayPal today for $30.00 for the pipe.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund
