Sarah Brooks became WC i think three years ago in Italy and I think it was Roger's boat , thats the last time i've seen him .( missed the hydros in Hungary so no idea if he was there )

Always sad to loose a fellow boater ,

Condoleances to the family !

Regards ,

Bart

I saw Roger and Sarah at the World Championships a few times. He was devoted to his daughters.

Sarah did win with her 7.5cc Hydro and that was more important to Roger than his own racing results.

Sad news. I met him at many world championships and he was a keen racer with capital K and devoted to his family.

Roger was a larger than life character who I had the pleasure to meet at several World Championships. The last time I met Roger was at the 2008 World Championships, Leno in Italy, Sara was racing in the 7.5 class and just creamed the opposition by two laps to become World Champion. They both exited the pits to a standing ovation from all of the spectators, you have never seen a prouder father. He will be sadly missed by us, I would like to offer our condolences to Sara and her sister.

Regards Keith, Tracey and Luke.
