Check with Dr. Gary Turner or Mark Bullard as they make a nice kit fot the 21 riggers and if I remember they told me they ran just plain synthetic oil for lube B)

Mark

I made a delron collar and installed it on the stuffing tube and put a dubro 241 fitting in the collar with a piece of fuel tubing about 4 inchs long and using 90 weight and spt mix 50/50 and it will last 2 runs and no cable problems.

Dave,

so the 4" tube holds enough lube for 2 runs, with STP & 90 wt. mix?

Mark,

I have a few oilers from Mark Bullard/Doc Turner and I have mounted it just

above the shaft log in the boat. I run Mobil 1 synthetic oil with no problems at

all. I think on the Warlok 21 it fits great just under the cowl. In my opinion, it

is the way to go for shaft lubrication,no more greasy hands. :)

I tried a shaft oiling system on my last .40 Crapshooter and found them to be extremely messy. Maybe I was doing something wrong but I found the oil had an easier time running out the front of the shaft than it did making it's way out the back. I always had more shaft lube on my "T" shirt or inside the engine compartment from flying off the belt during starting than I did out the back end. I must say though... At the end of testing or racing for the day my shaft was completely soaked in lube unlike any hand application methods I've used. Also you have to be disiplined enough to remember to do everything just right. Remove a plug, attach the tube or just removing the clamp etc or you're running dry. Definately not for the nervous boater...

Chris,

I would like to try a Steve Wood oiler also. I have 1.25" of room under my cowl

to the stuffing tube. I'm sure the one that you have on your Warlok 21 will fit.

Thanks Chris,
