Ok guys

I can not get this d@m thing to loosen up

{ Stuck To The water} Boat's balance point is 29% > I have had the strut every where from flat to the bottom to 1/4 inch above from the bottom > I have tried 437 / 438 / 440 > I have tried the pipe from 8 1/2 inch to 7 3/4 inch ...

short of brakeing out a sanding block and removeing the hook in the bottom:

What are you guys doing to make the s-d.3 get up and run ......??

Is the rudder length correct? per Jerrys instructions!

WHERE IS YOUR'S BALANCE AT ?

And what length on your pipe ??

also if you will see what your cable end measures off the table when you put the boat flat on the table .....

I have been waiting on props for this one and my sport 20 P/T .

I hope to get soon ...........

Thank You my Friend

Rick Reisinger

It will be stuck to the water till it gets in racing water. If you loosen it up it will dunk in race water.

Need to get it in race water to see how it is..........

Thy are not a play boat.................Thy are a race boat................

Rick,

I will get back in the propeller shop tomorrow after work.

My daughter was married over the weekend and family comes first.

Just getting home from a long weekend.

Thanks,

Dido David.

I recently built a new 21 Seducer with a Nova based engine. Put it together as per the build instructions. First time out it was stuck to the water, and couldn't get it to break free(tried pretty much the same things as Rick).

Later that same test session the water conditions changed from smooth to a very slight chop. Without any changes the boat ran excellent(probably to loose) and was 5-10mph faster.

Wouldn't have believed the difference without seeing with my own eyes.

Octura M props work real nice on a mono.

Start small and work your way up.

M440 M445 M447

If the eng has the power the M447 is fast........

Rick,

Jerry will tell you the 1614/3 blade prop is the go-to prop for this boat. Mark can hook you up on different pitch and diameter ranges to try.

got it.. should have know when i read x440 lol

on dad's 45 we had to bondo and sand the bottom. it was just to stuck even in race water.. remember these boats are pulled from a mold and i can guarantee some come out better than others and they will run different.

Something else to watch is how you put them in the stand and leave them in a hot trailer...
