Is the only difference between the sd 2 and sd 3 is the 2 is carbon fiber and the 3 is kevlar ?

I am pretty sure I know the Black boat with Red Splatter. It's a Kevlar hull, but it is a SD3 hull. I purchased it from Jerry for a friend of mine and he paid an additional fee to have it laid up with kevlar instead of carbon fiber.
