North America is slowly but surely becoming informed....We all assumed that our elected representatives were looking out for our welfare....
It is becoming very obvious that is not happening.....
The USA electorate and their elected political representatives decided to let Joe and the Hoe occupy the White House so Canada doesn't have the free worlds supply of idiots.....we have our share......
There is only one way this all can eventually go....and that is very very bad.....In fact I am really surprised it hasn't gone there already.......
The fall out from the mid terms here in the USA in 9 months is going to be very interesting.....

Unfortunate thing for Canadians is the East always determines who gets in. Until there is equal representation across Canadian provinces it will never change. Now he is trying to use the wars measures act to do away with the rights of Canadians. The deputy prime minister stated they want to make certain parts of the act permanent. The war measures act is a temporary measure with strict guidelines and the liberals want parts of that act that directly benefit their ability to retain power permanent ????

So my day started with someone complaining about this thread. Just one mind you and not the first time for this person. We have always allowed people to speak freely on the off topic forum INCLUDING POLITICS and this will not change as long as things remain civil.

And for the record I think what is happening to the people of Canada is disgraceful, I hope all my Canadian friends can last thru this tyrant you are stuck with until your next elections. There are lessons to be learned here...........

But isn't this supposed to be a site about hobbies? Boating at the center of it? That's what I come here for. It might not seem very inviting to some new to the hobby to see political rants when they're looking around the site. I know it's listed under "Off Topic", but might it make some sense to keep it to topics that aren't so polarizing? There's plenty of other places to argue politics.

I am not one to post my political views or argue them we all have our opinions and see things different. But this person who has stated over and over again about his views on dictatorship and his admiration of it and done it on camera has me wondering where our country is heading. We have elected a spoiled rich kid who's only work history is a part time drama teacher. He go's on camera as says he bases his decisions on his life experiences???? So you say a part time drama teacher and full time spoiled rick kid is the experience required to run a country???. I do know Canada is in a fight for it's life. Our veterans are told they are asking for too much and then he requires the military to defend the government?? 2 years ago we had protests and property was damaged, people were injured and the rail line was stopped. He did not invoke the war measures act then. Then to call his own people fellow Canadians "swastika carrying racists" "women haters" "science deniers" the list go's on. It's a shame and no country or it's people should be subjected to that.

I usually stay out of these discussions but after watching "Fidel Jr." for the past six years pushing his far left socialist agenda on our country I havta say this time he's crossed a line.
