Ok so im just about to finish my Dragon Fli 20 and it will be done with some paint and cleared wood.......My question is after the 1rst coat of Spray Max 2K clear has dried can i lightly scuff it with 320 to 400 sandpaper and spray on a 2nd coat of clear? Ive done a couple of boats with Rustoleum and then clear them with 1 heavy coat of 2K clear and was reasonably happy with the finish but havent tried scuffing and shooting a 2nd coat of clear like with automotive paints and clears! Many thanks!!

I wait until the first coat application of clear flashes, then spray another coat. Been applying 3 moderate coats of 2K clear resulting in a glass like smooth finish. Never had a bonding problem or durability issue.

Just make sure your push the red plunger down hard enough to release the hardner. Some have taken alot of pressure to release and the results are not good if the hardner is absent.

Just my $.02...
