For those of you that have been trying to contact me and I have been slow to respond I apologize. I've had a lot on my plate since the past few months. Unloading my commercial graphics business, yet another robbery...actually two in two weeks, plus a surge in my other business has had me working some crazy hours for several months now. Things are beginning to stabilize and I will be a little more accessible by next week. I need to tie up some loose ends on some big projects.

Don let me know how the boat runs as I have one of Henry's boats like yours that I wanted to build and I may need some coaching in it since I've never done one of his.

Mike,

BUILD IT, Its a bullit-easly will out perform the original hull!!!!

Don :)

ps hope to have it ready for the grand prix

Don,

I have one of Henry's hulls too. Can you give me a starting point on where to set the strut?

Testing some running surfaces on the Pay N Pak before building a new one so it looks like I might be running my Coors Light at the Grand Prix.

Glenn,

I would start at 1-5/8" to the bottom of the strut with a slight neg. angle ( about 1 degree ) when using the 1400 series props.

Don :)

Ok guys I'm back....sort of.

In case you wonder why I dropped off the face of the earth I had a business project that basically blew up overnight. I was at a dead sprint to keep up with it. It started 3 years ago with some pie in the sky talk with another football coaching buddy of mine when he was coaching my team and I coached another. Well it never happened for whatever reason and now we actually got off our a$$es and got it going and well I was going 7 days a week for almost 3 months. The growing pains and being severely undermanned was killing me. That's all been fixed and we are cruising a little for right now. What is it you ask? Let's just say that next year if you are watching College Football or the NFL even and they show some really killer footage of some star player in High School or Pee Wee Football there is a possibility it came from my studio. All I'm saying for now.... BTW the team I was the D Line coach for won a State Title.

Anyway I am getting back to drawing and producing graphics sets and I had a few leave yesterday and more are leaving today. My son is down here with me and since he's a scale driver too he's making sure they are right before they leave. I know a few of you may be pissed at me for the delay so I'm making it worth your while for the wait...

BTW Mike and Chuck both of your boats left too.

Happy new Year Mike,

Let me know when I can expect my 1988 Miller High Life U-31 set to be shipped?

I am done with paint and ready for the graphics.

Thanks,

David

Keith and David yours will be going out this next week. Don I think I have a pretty close match for the head covers.

By the way I am going to be taking my Scale Graphics off of the current website and setting it on it's own here very soon. The ProLine Media site needs to be just for my AV business with the traffic that I am getting I don't want them confused. Also on the new site I will also be listing all of the Unlimited Hydroplane video I have in my library, which amounts to some 300+ hours from every decade. Plus I will be adding a section for resources for scale boat manufacturers, drivers, parts etc. This will also include Classic Thunderboats too. That part will be a work in progress as I am still compiling that information. Everything else will be up as soon as I get the new domain name. I've been tinkering with this for over a year I just haven't had time to work on it since July. Now that I am no longer the District Director for NAMBA D9 I can focus on my duties as NAMBA Scale Chairman exclusively and my obession with scale.
