run time for 2 stroke engine

Just wondering how many laps u guys r getting for a 500ml iv bag of fuel. I have rcmk 254 and only last for about 17 laps wide open. I would love to jump into the full mod k30 engine but will it last for a race? what size tanks r u guys using?

A race is only 6 laps so you have plenty of fuel.

Some people run 250ml bags.

I have a full mod K30 and run a full mill plus 6 laps of racing on a 1/3 mile IMPBA course with probably 1/2 of a 500ml IV bag left.

500 ml is plenty for any single gas engine.

Yup, allot of boats will do 6 laps of milling and then 6 laps of racing and then 1 lap to bring the boat to shore.

The europeans sometimes have longer races. And our offshore races would be longer, but most clubs do not have a off shore course.
