Did something this year that I had heard about quite a while back and had been wanting to try, that is to start me a "Rum Pot"

All you need is a crock or some other container that does not let light in and keep the air out. Why, I do not know. Beginning after christmas, put a layer of fruit, whatever is in season, in the bottom, sprinkle sugar over it and cover with rum. Keep doing this all during the year until the pot is full.

That is what I did, and last night, I just had to test it........WOW, talking about good. Took a sip and got a buzz, ate a small piece of fruit from the pot and got another buzz. After a little while, I was buzzing so much that I thought that I was in a bee hive.

So tonight I am going to remove it from the pot and put it in the fridge for sipping on during the holidays.

The question is, do you think that my yard is big enough to hold all of my christmas friends? :) :) :)

Charles,

It looks like the rum pot will help with the disappointment

after the 21 Hydro lost the radio? What a bummer after all that work.

Happy Holidays Charles,

I also have something else to ease the pain.

A guy with his family, was traveling thru here in July, his car was overheating. He told me up front that he had already spent all the money he had trying to get his car fixed and it was still overheating. Said he only had enough money to buy the gas for the rest of the trip. Did not even have enough for any food. Said that he was headed home to Ohio.

After checking his car, talking to him, his wife and kids, I was convinced that he was telling the truth.

The radiator on his car was stopped completely up, could not even be back flushed. I called a friend of mine that had a junked out car of the same kind, he told me that they could have the radiator for free, we went and removed the radiator from it and installed it in his car. That fixed his problem. Called the local buffett house and told them to feed them and send me the bill. They fed them for free.

I received a package last week, inside was a liter of Crown Royal. I am sharing it with my friends that helped this guy out.
