As many of my fellow boat racers know, my boat was heavily damaged at the Masters Race this past season. The boat had many season on it and was becoming very flexible. Even before the wreck in Hobart, I was intending to replace the tub.

With finances down and physical issues ( siatic nerve ), I have been unable to build or buy a replacement tub. Tom has helped me get back to the pond for 2010. To have friends help out when things are down, really makes this a great sport. Thank you Tom Elkins!!!!!

We ran the boat last weekend. It has to be trimmed, and there are new issues to be dealt with converting from HR motor to the new VAC motors. The boat will be ready for testing again this weekend.

I haven't run the boat with the VAC`s yet. When my seals come , I`ll be back at the pond. I spent most of the day redoing the throttle linkage, to work with the VACs

First time I raced with Nub (RC Cars) it was 1986 in Chippewa Falls WI.. I did not have a CHANCE!

Didn't have time for an elaborite paint job. I've been thrashing for the Atlanta Shootout. The motors ran well last weekend , but the setup was off and has recieved attention. I should get back to the pond in the next couple days.
