RIP Fred Hartley

It saddened me to to find out Sunday that my mentor in the RC boating hobby passed away over the weekend.
Fred Hartley was 87 years old and I will miss boating with him. He was instrumental to the Badger Model Boat Club in Somers Wisconsin for decades.

I am sure he is already running boats in Heaven.

God Speed Fred. He raced in Florida nearly every winter and was a "snowbird" member of the Tampa Club, at least since the early 2000s. He will be missed.

Missed seeing him this winter in FL, got no reply when trying to connect with him. We go back a long way to when he worked in Flint for GM. RIP my friend!
