I'm starting a gas rigger cad/design project,

could someone tell me of a baseline sponson angle of attack to aim for?

It would be setup primarily for oval race.

A good general angle to start with is 3 degrees (maybe a 1/10th or so less). Theory says no more and not much less. Drag starts to go up in either case. There's more to it, but that's a good place to start.
