Looks like a pretty good turn out! Congrats to all who trophied. :D

How did you let EMS Racing beat you??????

You will never hear the end of it!

My C hydro stopped on the back straight due to lack of a glow plug in the head  It then got nailed by Eric which fed my good pipe to the pond monster ( I had a steel fishing leader attached to it as a safety but it snapped in half! )

Craig did very well considering the race was not held in the USA  His 67 'bird was looking good!

Well done Craig and Tim! I see Craig even won his outboard class!!

Tim,

How did Craigs 67 rigger go considering I am about to re-do mine as a 67? His success must be down to that turn fin I sharpened for him! :p

It looked good on the tight course - considering he had a trophy run   I'd like to see it with my motor in it!

That X mono of his is fast when it behaves B)

Tim,
Nailed by Eric? Things have come full circle then!

Ian.
Yeah - in a way I'm glad it was him and not one of the other guys.

TimD racing: No tantrums here.

Tim,
You should see my X mono now! It doesnt behave much tho! I was drag racing for starts on the weekend, won the drags!! :p

Ian.
Let me guess - your using those big 2 blade props again aren't you

Got the call on Friday - mine is ready to be picked up :) Bring on Finley!

Tim,

X482 cut down to 76mm... B)

The problem is the torque. If the hull bounces at all and lifts off the water the prop takes over and barrel-rolls the boat everytime! There is no such thing as too much power, but there certainly is too much torque!

Not sure if it will make the trip to Finley. Not a lot of point at the moment.

Nitrocrazed racing: too much prop.

Hey Tim, first time back to racing for me in about 12 years and to come away with anything was great. Beside the placing's, I meet some good blokes and had a laugh so it's all good. Can't wait for the next time.

Jason. ;)

Folks,

Made it back home safely:)

Thanx to all who turned up and made it a nice friendly race.

Yes the X mono has found its urge again, so be scared, very scared !!!

oh and the Hummingbird looked pretty good considering its an old tired engine and only ran a cupped 1462. Borrowed Bret's cupped H32 and it was quicker again. Looks like it needs an even bigger prop! Now for a cowl.... hmmmmm maybe I can borrow Jason S's idea and use a coke can (cleverly disguised by the 100mph tape)???

Tim dont worry, wont rub it in

EMS (I beat Tim D) Racing

Craig,

I think the H-32 is the right prop for that boat you just need to pitch it a little

more. For that mono you should try a three bladed propeller that will help even

the prop torque out.

Tim,

Thanks for the results. Did Roger Brookes race with you guys?

Mark Sholund

Mark,

No - Roger was a no-show. I think he is concentrating on getting the boats ready for the NAVIGA world champs.

I ran the H10 I got from you there - awesome at that site! I'll send you an email.

Tim.

Thanks Gene B)
