So is there any calculations or ways to see what sizes are for what engines?

Hi Jim,
Normally the Fine needles are for 21-45 engines like OS's remote setup, and the Coarse needles are for 67 and Up (OS provide 2 neddle sizes with their remote package) , The Russian needles are the same for defining engine size, I think the BVM style will work fine on any size

I am using the needle from Stu Barr on my .21 CMB Evo and it works very well. I am also using one of Don Ferrette’s valves on a 67 Nova and it works well too.

The Ferrette/OS combo is great. When you install the brass body of the needle into the base leave a little bead of red threadlocker to prevent any air leaks.

Yes I have CMB needles the problem I have is, there are 90 and 21 needles and I have a 45 ???

The valve I got from Stu is just like the Bob Violet. Has been working great on my 21
