think my village would let me put that in my back yard? (I kinda doubt it but it might be an excellent idea for those of you that live out in the country)

Workshop?? You just gave me the best idea. Now i know how i can afford a 3 story house. $2500x3. Couple doors, couple windows, spiral staircase. Put one more off to one side to back my bass boat in. 2500x4....$10,000 plus delivery and set up. Call yours a workshop if you want to, but i'm going back to e bay right now and order my dream home!

And i will give you three guesses where they are being delivered to.......

A) Georgia

B) Alabama

C) South Carolina

And if you get one that was a refrigerated container, they are insulated. That will help you save on heating and cooling - more money to put into boats. Tell your wife it's an investment to SAVE MONEY.

Here in Sydney it's 6:45 on Wednesday morning and is 28C degrees already. Never get snow in Sydney.

Back when I was in college, I helped some architects by doing a structural design for a Frame to make these into Modular Low Cost Housing to provide a shelter for homeless folks. I had one version (I called it the HOBO Hotel) :) that was 6 tiers high and 20 bays across.

I’ll look around in my old stuff to see if I can show you guys……..I also designed a 3 tier one that I called the LoJo Hotel B)

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! <_< <_<

Hey Tom, you might find there is a loop hole in the permit department if it is movable, ie no permit required, how much do you want to piss off the nieghbors!

Coming across the Arizona desert I saw folks using old railroad boxcars, minus the wheels, as sheds, barns, workshops, etc. They were a nice railroad brown color that blended well with the surroundings. Probably hot as the dickens inside, though.

You ever open one of those shipping containers in the summer?? OUCH! Be sure that they are vented!

Our club has one for storage - as Bill said get an ex -refrigerated one as they are fully insulated. I have opened ours during 40 degrees C days (over 100F) and it wasn't too bad at all. Condensation drips from the roof tho' B) Mostly Stainless steel construction too.

Got this pic the other day via email - rednecks.

I have seen several places with these for storage for there products they make.

I would t hink it would be a nice garage/shed/ work shop. Would need a big fan in there tho.

its not a bad price, but shipping, renting a truck.

i dont know

Tom

That pic of the redneck outhouse would be a major improvement for a clan down the road

My Sister and her friend just got back from a holiday in the US.

While they were in a bar "down south" some redneck walked up and said to her she was a "purdy little thang" and then licked her - she was not too impressed by that! I've got to admit that's not a pickup line I'd think would be too effective
