Red and White returns.......

My very first real race boat was a red deck white bottom 40 mono Seaducer purchased off fleebay about 8 or 9 years ago, after many many hrs of testing/racing and chasing my tail- with the help of Gene / Tommy and Jerry - We figured out it sat on a stand waaaay to long in the heat and warped the hook. A second red and white boat a while later proved to also be a bad penny so it was then and there I swore off red and white race boats -_-

After the completion of the race this weekend I realized I have re-opened pandoras box with the newest addition -

The 42 will have to go and add a little vinyl bling , its a well traveled hull , but was fun to drive plus I needed a second tunnel.

Gonna have to figure out a decal scheme.

Im on my cell so I cant tell for sure, but is that 40 stocker on the right a Herbie boat? I first thought it was a Leecraft or Hornet but the cowling looks like Herb's design. Looks great.

As voted upon last weekend - For the HSC it will be called a Outlaw 40 (SuperStock ) elsewhere unless it sticks h34r:

Being there are no set rules in stone, I agree!!!... Bring it to Charleston and it will run in the Super Stock Class.

The answer is still staying the same for the same reasons too. The term Outlaw denotes a negative connotation that rules are being broken or worked around. Historically it is not a term that the CMB club wants anything to do with. It will be D Sport Tunnel, meaning anything goes except for a tuned pipe. When or if several manufacturers start coming out with full and complete engines with associated lowers, and meets the rule book requirements for numbers being made, like is being done in the B/20 sport class then and only will we get to a really purified Sport class. Will it happen, who knows? It is the best we can do with the current circumstances. But for now, let's leave it at that. You NAMBA guys can call what you choose to and have every right, but please do not import the name to the CMB club or the WTC race(s). For clarity and undertanding of the classes between associations, suggest that D/40 Sport Tunnel be used.

There is a second reason that I am not at liberty to discuss. For those that know what it is, you cannot discuss it either, as I personally discussed with each of you. In about a month, it will be know. Just be patient a little longer. Thanks.

YAY!!!! I will be bringing the orange and white Shaman back to get that rum!!!....... Now if I can just figure out how to cram a full sized SPP into that K&B can muffler, I will be all set!!!.....
