Hi Ron,

Yup, I've been talking to Tom all along about the Drag Cats. I should be on his list to get one. But for now, my Red Drag Cat will do. I was so busy with the 40 boat, I didn't even get the Drag Cat wet in Flint.

And yup, that point claimed another. I hit it square running probably 100+mph. The boat went so far into the dirt, you almost couldn't see it. We had to dig out the pieces. OUCH!!!

I made a few passes through @ 97+mph having to give it right rudder each time scrubbing off a bunch of speed. The last pass I thought it had a good line and never corrected the rudder this time to let it eat. The little boat sure was smokin that pass. I'm more bummed that I didn't get the speed than totaling the boat. :(

Here's a pic before, I think quite a few people have after pics :)

And as usual, Terry and the gang did a great job putting on this event. We had a great time and can't wait to come back.

It looks like Don beat everyone to it.

And I do need to thank Don for his generosity and all the help he's given me on this one.

Thanks Buddy!!

We'll be back!! :D

I thought you were smarter than that, I heard the guy that was helping you line up for the pass put his rigger in the point three weeks earlier.

SORRY :(

Hi Mike,

Na, it seems we're both not the sharpest pencil in the box are we. But I didn't know you put a boat magnet in that point either.

I really can't thank you enough for your help. You've taught me a bunch and I do appreciate it. I just wish I didn't follow in your footsteps so close and missed that **** point :p

All in fun :D

And I can use your help next time too. All boats are replaceable, friendships are not. :)

I know your boats aint made for turning, but, dang, that little island is like 900' out?
We're not talking about the Island, it's the point on the left, at the final timing beam that sticks out for the right to left pass. If you've ever made passes there, you'd know exactly which point. It's always a concern and a target when you're running. If you follow the shoreline, you'll hit it, and really hard @ 100mph
