Getting ready to get the new Twin RoadRunner with 91 CMB VAC's in the water shortly, I want to use my current Futaba 3PM

2.4 GHZ. I see lots of people are using two receivers, batteries, switches etc, I have a new 2.4 receiver and a 1800 Hydro max 6 volt battery setup I would like to use. What are all you twin guys using? I need some input before I get her in the water. Any help would be great.

Thanks Beau Parsons

Futaba 4pk,3pk,3pm in 2.4 fasst some people use 1 receiver,1 battery and one switch like me never had a issue but you can put 2 of each if you like also. Life 6.6V 2100 mah battery lasted me Friday-Sunday on one charge and had plenty of power left.

Beau,

Two receivers, two switches and two battery packs using the Futaba Fasst System is the best way to go in my worthless humble opinion. You may even want to try the life lipo batteries. At least 1000 test runs and race heats without a single radio failure using the Futaba Fasst.

Do not cheap out on the radio equipment for your twin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <_< <_<

Can I use my current Futaba 3PM and run dual receiver, batteries, switches? Is this model compatible if I choose to run two of everything? If so how does one wire, connect all these components together?

I prefer the 3PK and 4PK for the added features but yes your 3PM FASST will work fine. One rx, switch and battery set for steering servo, the other set is for throttle servo. :)

Ok guys almost ready to throw my twin in the water all ready except radio equipment. Can anyone show me some pictures that you all have of a twin radio box setup? i have a few ideas but want to see what everyone else is doing or there setups are. Any help or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Beau
