RADIO PROBLEMS

I have a Futaba Magnum Jr. (75mhz FM), can i use a hitec receiver with this radio?? if so, do i need a Futaba Tx crystal and a Hitec Rx crystal or can i use futaba crystal in the hitec receiver???

I use a Futaba fm crystal in a Hitec receiver without any problems.

hi mark i use a futaba transmitter with hitec recievers. the reciever needs to be eather a negitive or positive shift for the futaba i can't rember but the hobbie shops can look it up. than you need to use the hitec duel conversion reciever crystales. that way you only need one futaba trans crystal than one hitec reciever crystal. this works better becouse you cah buy the reciever crystles by them selves whitch is cheeper. jimmy

Thanks for the info guys, the receiver i have is a Hitec HFS-03MM single conversion. do i need the single conversion crystal with this receiver?
