I bought a Pro Boat Mystic a while ago to play with and have not been able to cure the radio glitch it has had from day one.

I have tried just about everything I can think of and just can't get rid of it.

I have tried a couple different rx's and transmitters , crystals and servo's , I sent the speed control back and it was replaced with a new one .

If I disconnect the speed control and use a seperate battery pack for the rx it works fine.

Not sure what else I can try ?

Explain the glitch I spaced out the rtr part.. Should have caught that with the rtr part... Is it the stock servo???

Glitch is the steering servo jumping around , have tried a couple different servos all did the same thing.

Can I run a seperate rx pack in this boat ?

Yes do that as a matter of practice simply remove the read wire from the housing on the esc plug that goes into the reciever. Then run your external rx battery.

Does the servo "jump around" on the bench, or on the water? If just on the bench, that's often normal, don't worry about it. If you want to run an external receiver pack, disconnect the RED wire. I usually just buy a 3" servo extension and cut the red wire on it - then I can switch back and forth by just adding or taking the extension away.
