Has any one ran with an OPS .67 in a 1/8th scale boat or knows any one that has. I am wanting to buy one for a scale boat but don't really know how well it would be, see a lot of people using the CMB .67...

The OPS 67 will work, but you have to work them over pretty good to be even close to competative to the CMB 67 Green head.

IE: raise exhaust timing, flow the intake ports, change head button volume, change the rod to the "no longer available" RPM rod.

If this is one of the new OPS 67's, I don't have any experiance with it, it may be more in line with todays technology, I don't know?

I've run the old ops's and some of the newer ones and they just don't have the (grunt) of the CMB's or old Picco's. Yes you can rework them. but its alot of work and then there kind of like a hand grenade, It's going to blow soon. Greg
