Thanks Bill!

I shot the first coat of primer last night, but realized that I forgot to add some air vents in the canopy.

Does anyone see a problem with putting the vents in the rear like this? I would cut the front scoop to supply air intake to the engine, but the carb sits directly below it and I fear water getting into the carb.

-OR- can I get away with no vents? Anyone running without vents?

Shawn,

I would not be too worried about the opening in the front getting water into it. Both Christina's sport 20 and my sport 40 have the cowl opening right above the engine.

I did some mock up work and think that I'm going with a Ducati sponsorship theme. I'm thinking about something like this...

I weighed my Whip sport 40 and it comes in at 8lbs 4oz minus fuel. Is this in the ballpark for a sport 40, or am I heavy?

Really?!?!

With fuel, mine will weigh in at over 9 lbs RTR. :(

I wonder if I'm the exception, or the norm when it comes to weight
