Yup, "Uncle" Bill McGraw used to say you only need one prop for that setup, an X440/3.

The 1614/3 chopper is by far the most popular prop on 3.5cc monos here in Aus.

Pretty hard to find a boat without one at any event here, no matter what hull.

The COCR 1614/3 version made by Peter Duggan is the most common variant.

Here is an old video of Mr Ozspec's Speedmaster mono running a Ozspec 1614 COCR.

I believe this boat won every heat it finished(which was nearly all) over many years with Aaron at the helm.

The amazing part is the setup work he put into this boat was slim to none. He just knows his stuff.
