Hopefully someone on here can point me into the right direction. I am running a 56 inch Aeromarine Laminates Apache hull with a stock Zenoah G-23 Swinging a Prather 270 prop. Boats running great and scoots right along with a 270, a 265 lets it over rev a bit and a 275 bogs it out a bit. I know that "If it aint broke, dont fix it" BUT, Id like to try swinging three blade. Im running 1/4 inch shaft but it is turned down to 3/16 after the strut so I could have a wider variety of prop options. SO, Anybody know what size I should be looking at??? Or, is it even a good idea. Oh and it is set up using a surface drive. Thanks!

You might try the Octura Y572 three blade. It has a little more pitch than your Prather 270 but less than the 275.
