All of my links to Randy's Prop Shop don't work - is he still selling props?

Who else is a 'Prop Master'? I need to get a few balanced and polished props to test on a light-weight Sport 20 hydro with a CMB Valvola .21 - any suggestions on props and/or sources?

Do you run different props on SAW trials versus regular oval heat racing?

The two most popular props I would say are Andy Brown(CMDi) props or Mark Sholund(Props 4 U). They are both very well known for making very high quality custom props. I have props from both of them. They are both on this site. Mark is "shoboat" He will steer u in the right direction, his web I believe is props4u.com(not for sure). You can go to cmdiracing.com for Andy's website to make an order through him. Both of there prop work is worth its weight in gold.

Clint,

I would not put myself in the "Propeller Master Class". I am still learning a lot about propeller design and application

for our boats. I think the boat set up, engine, and pipe combinations make it tough to master anyone of these

classes. There is a lot of profiling propellers right now in my shop, and we are getting pretty good results with most

of our new designs for Heat Racing and S.A.W. set ups.

Have Fun Testing,

Mark Sholund

racers in our hobby. And me too,a nobody. :)

Don't let him kid you! He knows props.

Give him a try,you won't be dissapointed ;)

Yea lets see, Mark works with precision tools to get a mirror or satin finish and exact pitch through the entire prop face and I work with a flat bastard file and pliers.

Mark, You are a Prop Master!! ;)

Mark is a prop master. Im not sure I would even think about cmdi right now, they are swamped, and you wont be getting anything too soon from them. They ahve had my motor for repair for I think going on 4 months now, if not longer. Anyhow, i understand somewhat, as they are setting up ther emachine shop, and very very busy, but come on, 4 months is getting a little rediculous

Mark will treat you right from start to finish. Oh, and build a fast prop for you. :D

The North Texas Model Boat Club uses a pond in Echo Park in Fort Worth that has buoys. The Dallas Thunderboats uses a pond in McInnish Park in Carrollton that has buoys (Sandy Lake and I35E).

Probably not...I dropped by a race at your pond in September. I have a couple of boats (small nitro) and you were just racing Gas boats. I went down to Houston the next month and raced (and won a trophy). Because of the "need for speed", I bought the CMB Valvola 21 from one of your club members (Bob Finn) and am building a Sport Hydro 20. I visited Bob's place - what a set-up and what a gentleman!

I have just started working on a Gas Sport Hydro but am not very far along.
