Problems with Mini Cat Hydroplane

I have a Mini cat hydroplane from minicatracingusa . It will go like hell for two three or four minutes then just stop after about 5 secs it will start up again and go for another two or three min then stop again. It is getting cooled fine never real hot when i bring it in. I think it might be the esc but dont know for sure. Any suggestions ? thanks Oh I am running Lipos two different ones i use. thanks Brian

Nice to see a bit more info. Motor/esc/prop/radio/batteries specific? A low voltage cutoff usually won't come back and run another 3 minutes. Momentary loss of signal could cause a esc shutdown and re-bind. When you say two different lipo's are you running them at the same time? parallel. series? Are you using a BEC to run your rx and servo? Mic

Mic , I'm pretty sure these are the specs on the factory setup- unless of course it has been changed. Those Mini-Cat Hydro's are a ton of fun, they are the ones Jim Slaughter is selling.

I am running the Mini cat stock just the way it came and one battery at a time (11.1 v 2200 mah 3s1p lipo) and a 2.4 radio . Maybe I should try another radio? it works with two other nitro boats thou. thanks brian
