problematic cmb 65

we got a cmb 65 from a guy in new york in an 1/8th scale boat it starts rigth up going the wrong direction but when we start it the rigth way it wont starts it kinda sputters but thats it does anyone know the correct needle settings for the high and low speed needles on these thigns any help is greatly appriciated we wanna go run this afternoon

there could be 2 hole's in the rotot or disc where the crank pin goe's in if it's in the wrong one the motor will run backward's ,put it in the other hole and it should run fine

On that particular motor I believe the disc floats on a shaft assembly & it was possible to put it in facing wrong way. Take the disc out, flip it over, reassemble & see how it does. :blink:
