Cut out again at the minute mark when i brung it in still no smoke but I did notice where the heat shrink on the connectors got hot. If the motor connector joint came loose again Ill assume i need larger current connectors. Still think the t-180 or fightercat esc will give me less to worry about. The trim tabs are neutral but ill bend them up slightly so the bow can get up out of the water. If I can get her attitude looser ill be happy with how it runs. Most of the time i was at 1/2 or 3/4 throttle. The t600 wasnt too hot when i brung it in. I think it could take more prop a 455 perhaps. The esc was warm to touch but not terribly hot . There wasnt a smell or lick of anything that indicated esc failure so here again I dont know.
Hugh
next time i might want to get the grass off the prop too . DUMB___ me
Found it ! The esc had a failure the fet driver on the a terminal is toast, likely indicating a failure in the motor bridge; it wasnt catastrophic but it failed.Wont blame it on the esc, it was my fault . You know in a mono with a 452 at 30000k you will probably see 200 plus amps  so I was stupid not to have external caps installed, for one, but also to leap from 45 to 52mm .With zero knowledge on wat I was pulling. I have no motor parameters for the t600, so there was no way to know, even in theory, wat it would pull on a 452 . Oh well the boat had me wanting to go run it .
Note on the skywing esc: I wasnt having any issues until i removed my external cap bank. I had run a k51 for over 3 min with no problems so a 452 shouldnt have been too bad.
Here's what ill be running in d12 : No way near as nice as the others posted this week ,but still a start. Going to run today and hopefully get some datalogging on the x645.
ill start out in the Am. With fully charged packs and a 452 in the morning. I will clean out all my logging sessions tonight to make sure I get the data I want
I have some jewelry id like to try on my mono . I have a nice set of cut up 455's that will make this boat fly but first lets try a texas cut for fun. A t455
