I`m about to power up one of my monos with electric stuff. It is a 70" mono ment for 35 cc gas. Nodd V-180

My first thought was a Lehner 3080/12 on 12S, but a vice guy told me that a NEU 2230-1Y would be a way better choise.

On the LMT motor I was thinking of a Propshop 7016 propeller, but it might be too big? And what about the propeller on NEU? Running at 12S on NEU I will have about 31000 rpm, and that is way too much for a 7016 prop.

I don`t have the needed experience on electric so far, so I`m asking those of you that have good experience...

Thanks :D

I like the idea of using a NEU motor since they have more poles then Lehners and so, a bit more torque, I believe they are more efficient as well...

Lehner is not a bad motor by any means!
