Popeyes offshore boat

I am trying to restore an old deep vee hull and plan on doing the Popeye scheme. A naive question: Does the Popeyes team has anything to do with the Popeyes fried chicken chain? I am trying to find the Popeyes logo and I am thinking of using the Popeyes fried chicken logo, which I have plenty of, from the box.

Al Copland was the CEO of Popeyes fried chicken and also campaigned the Popeyes racing team (when he wasn't running cocaine). Do a google search on him for the rest of the story. Quite a colorful fellow.

Answer to your question,,, yes the Popeye's offshore team was the Popeyes Fried Chicken.

You could try Aeromarine RC,,, they used to have to decal sheets for that boat and more.

Not sure if they still do or not though

Thanks Blaise and Rick for your replies. I learned something new. I noticed the Popeyes logo on some of the vintage vees are not the same as the Popeyes fried chicken logo; hence the question.

I want to have a go at cutting my own graphics. Mainly also because I am not sure if the one that Aeromarine offers is the right size for a 40 size boat.

It's a mono not a scale, so go ahead and try your own graphics and I'm sure anyone will tell you they look fine!!!
