I know that prop selection is not a cut and dry thing, but please give me some input on this subject if possible. I built a lil rascal, and I am now to the point of needing props. It has a mild .18 engine in it, but I am going to do some porting on it this weekend. I know I will have to go through a few to find the right one. As of now I am thinking that an octura p735 may be a good be a good choice, but I am also thinking maybe an x440 or a Y535. I know the 735 is a lifting prop, and that may be helpful in this application. This is my first boat I have built from scratch so this makes the first time I am selecting a prop blind. I am sorry for asking such a newb question, but I would rather ask those that truly know something on the subject versus another newb. I am sure that I will get bored with this boat soon, and be building a JAE rigger. I also am almost finished with a 33" Maus rigger with a .45 CMB that one of our fine members here has given a once over for me. Building these boats has been a lot of fun, but now it is almost time to burn some nitro! Thanks in advance for any advice you can give, and have a great weekend!
